Led off the invitee presentations at the AI Applications and Innovations Showcase, hosted by the California Council on Science and Technology (CCST) and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group in Sacramento, giving legislative staff a look at two applications from the AI Institute for Next Generation Food Systems (AIFS): FoodAtlas.ai, a massive evidence-based food knowledge graph that includes disease connections; and SwapItSmart, which builds on FoodAtlas with a chatbot to offer smart dietary adjustments for restaurants, food service organizations, and individual consumers.
